Put the first three together and a simple wedding starts at about ₹10,500 for the stage, the jaimala and the car.
1. The flowers you choose
Carnations, chrysanthemums and gerberas cost less. Roses sit in the middle. Orchids, lilies and imported flowers cost the most. A stage in carnations and a stage in orchids can look alike in photos and be very different on the bill.
2. How much you decorate
A stage backdrop is one price. Add the mandap, the entrance, table centrepieces and a photo corner and the cost grows with every area. Decide which spots matter most for photos and spend there first.
3. The size of the stage
A 12-foot stage needs far fewer flowers than a 30-foot one. Measure, or ask the venue, before you ask for a quote.
4. The date
November to February is wedding season in the Tricity. Flowers cost more and good dates fill up. Book early to keep your date and your price.
5. Fresh or mixed
Fresh flowers look and smell best, and they are what we use. A full fresh stage costs more than a small one with plenty of greenery and fabric, so mix them if the budget is tight.
